Ergonomics and systems
Design and technology
The design of our kitchens is characterized by individuality. It is not only visual elements such as front surfaces and colors, but also functional aspects such as ergonomics, equipment and quality requirements for the kitchen.
Ergonomics
Working in the kitchen is really fun only when the cabinets are at the right height, spacing and all the important tools are quickly and easily at hand. In short: when the kitchen is planned so that work is pleasant and gentle on the body.
Working height - the ideal size depends on your body height and is determined by the height of your elbows. Thanks to three different carcase heights (information about carcase heights) in combination with two worktop thicknesses and seven plinth heights, they can be individually planned.
WORKTOP THICKNESS + BODY HEIGHT + PLINTH HEIGHT = WORKING HEIGHT
From an ergonomic point of view, it is not only the working height that is important: Highly integrated electrical appliances, pull-out internal drawers and pull-outs or wall cabinets with hinged doors that can be closed electrically make everyday work in the kitchen much easier.
Corpus Height
The basis of individual kitchen planning is the height of the cabinet. We offer you a choice of three different heights. If you combine different plinth heights and worktop thicknesses, you can find the optimal solution for every design requirement or room situation. Of course, the kitchen unit can be individually adjusted to the height of the user.
The 13 cm module (=drawer height) ensures a clean and even distribution of joints. Multiplying 5.5 x 13 cm, 6 x 13 cm and 6.5 x 13 cm gives the heights 71.5 cm, 78 cm and 84.5 cm.
The body height of 71.5 cm is the classic standard height and also has the advantage that it can be installed almost anywhere. This height is ideal for old buildings with a fern height of 86 cm. From an ergonomic point of view, the optimal working height is achieved for people of smaller stature.
The body height of 78 cm provides a flexible height grid for various uses in the kitchen. It combines practicality with ergonomics for almost any use. This height is also ideal for modern buildings with a higher window sill height of approx. 100 cm.
If you are looking for exclusivity, innovative solutions and a special feeling of home, our extra-tall 84.5 cm body cabinet is ideal for open spaces and smooth transitions between the kitchen and the living area thanks to its cubic appearance. In combination with the low plinth height, it can be further adapted. A great bonus: more storage space. The higher working height is also great for taller people.
Corpus depth
More storage space thanks to different cabinet depths - maximum flexibility even for larger plates or bulky kitchen utensils that can be easily cleaned.
Wall cabinets
For wall cabinets, the standard depth is 35 cm. For selected heights and widths of wall cabinets, we offer an optional depth of 56 cm for additional storage space.
Lower Cabinets
There are three cabinet depths ranging from 35 to 56 cm. With a body height of 78 cm, you also have the option of choosing a depth of 66 cm.
Tall cabinets
In the entire range of tall cabinets, you can choose cabinet depths from 35 to 56 cm. Please note: a depth of 66 cm is not possible for models without handles.
